The viability of tradeshows is a frequent subject of debate in the Association community. As an executive director of a trade association, I often hear that our business model is inherently flawed because one of our primary sources of revenue is not one, but two trade shows. It seems the Association world has been prematurely writing the epitaph of trade shows for the past 20 years. See complete article.

Mid-Am's the place everybody goes to find out what's new. This year, there's a whole lot that's new about the trade show itself. For starters, the Midwest's premier horticultural trade show has a new location—across the street at McCormick Place West. The new location offers more space for meetings, classes, and discussion groups right newar the show floor. It's wired for the latest technology. Loading and unloading will be easier for exhibitors.
